Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the FocusTube browser extension and this website. By installing or purchasing FocusTube, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the extension.

1. What FocusTube is

FocusTube is a browser extension that hides parts of the YouTube interface — the homepage feed, sidebar recommendations, comments, and end-screen overlays — to help you stay focused. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. "YouTube" is a trademark of Google LLC.

2. License

When you purchase FocusTube, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for your own use across your devices. This is a one-time purchase that includes future updates. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key.

3. Payment and pricing

FocusTube is sold as a one-time payment for lifetime access at the price shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your license key is delivered by email after a successful payment.

4. Refunds

If FocusTube doesn't work for you, contact us at hello@focustube.app within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunded license keys are deactivated and will no longer pass verification.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to circumvent license verification or generate counterfeit keys.
• Don't reverse-engineer the extension to redistribute a modified copy.
• Don't use FocusTube to violate YouTube's own terms of service.

6. Dependence on YouTube

FocusTube works by adjusting YouTube's page layout. YouTube may change that layout at any time, which can temporarily affect what the extension hides. We aim to ship updates promptly when this happens, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.

7. Warranty disclaimer

FocusTube is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to FocusTube is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
